Backgorund
Growing up ive always been around jewelry my entire life, my dad was a jewelry since he was 14 and my mom worked selling jewelry even before I was born, fashion and clothing have always been my home and passion ever since I was 13 and therefore starting A La Mar now being 20, A La Mar has been a project I was working on since I was 18 with starting other projects that a scretch way before that, A La Mar is still in its beginning stages with the next goal being a clothes, the ending of stage 1 for A La Mar is to drop its first ever runway.
A La Mar
The name "A La Mar" came from me going to the beach a lot to clear out my mind, its a safe place for me, one promblem came about it though, to the beach in spanish is "A La Playa" which just kept on reminding me of the song "Vamos a la playa," so i had to find something similar thats when "A La Mar" came to my head which in english is "To The Sea." This name, I feel, makes even more sense, especially with its goal.
Goal
My goal for A La Mar is to be a symbol of freedom for all who do not oppress. That's why I feel as if A La Mar was a perfect fit for its name, at sea is where it's free, no borders, no oppression, just water, fish, and the sky. It's a pretty ambitious goal, but that's the goal for A La Mar.
